Sometimes God must redirect our paths and show us a greater plan.
When God doesn’t move when you want Him to
Or provide you the results you expected
Perhaps a new plan is what He is calling you to
One that gets you internationally known and respected
Your expectations weren’t quite high enough
For God’s vision for you is grandiose
So, God had to intentionally shift your path
To get your attention and keep you engrossed
The path you started on was fine for where you were
But God has something much greater
To expand you beyond what you could ever imagine
So, keep trusting God, who is your ultimate navigator
God will open doors you never thought to knock on
He will drop opportunities right in your lap
God’s favor will grab grace and prosperity
And leave you wondering just how you can give back
Flow in God’s new plan for your life
Though at first it may seem a bit out of your league
Know that uncomfortable and blind faith are a must
To succeed the way God wants you to succeed
When God expands your vision and reveals it to you
Believe it through the overwhelming and the wonder
For God knows with Him, you can and will accrue
And do it in a way such that it is perfectly clear it was God and no other
Hear what the Lord is saying about your existing plan
Be open to how God is orchestrating the whole design
Heed the lessons, the expectations, and the goals
For with every turn, mountain, valley, and pause; God had you in mind
Others may be more talented, gifted, or self-appointed
But you are God’s workmanship for such a time as this
You are destined to succeed because you have been God-anointed
But make no mistake, this is not the time to become sluggish
Yes, it has been years in the making, it’s true
But God’s New Plan has taken the old one and made it more brilliant
The more you trust God and are prepared to move when God says move
The new plan will become more and more vivid.
It calls for believing beyond what the eyes see
And preventing discouragement and doubt from creeping in
It requires blind faith and faith building courage
For the new plan will never fit into the old wineskin
Keep pushing forward, don’t stop progressing
Keep believing God more and more each day
Keep drawing close to God the giver and not focusing on the gifts
And allow God’s blessings to flow freely your way
“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.” ~Mat 9:17 (NLT)
Reflect and share how God giving you a New Plan may have frightened and excited you at the same time.
