Write It Down

Updated: Feb 14, 2022

Writing things down helps to commit to doing the work.

Write it down, every word that God says

So, you can reflect on it in future days

For when God says a thing, it is guaranteed

However, the timing may feel like an eternity

See, there is a time delay from the time God says a thing

And the time that thing is breathed life into being

But writing it down, reminds you of what was said

To keep your faith strong to fight the doubt that may rise in your head

Whenever you pray and ask God for vision or the plan

Be sure to have pen and paper, or computer and a blank document on hand

For God will answer and He will give you just what you need

For you to move forward, and even through ‘new’ doors, all you do will succeed

Whenever you pray before and after you write it down

Be sure to know God’s answers will never let you drown

Whenever you seek God as you write your plan

Your faith mixed with God’s guarantees will help you to stand

Write down the things that you want God to move

Write down the things that you want God to do

Write down the things that you want God to increase

Write down the things that you want God to cease

Pray and write, write and pray

Believe God for it each and every day

Then as God manifests them one by one

Cross them off, as they become finished, and done

Write down the things you want to learn

Write down the income you want to earn

Write down the future you envision and perceive

Write down the future you don’t yet have faith enough to believe

Pray about everything you write

Pray that you put in the work and don’t decided to take flight

Pray that your discernment of God’s will for your life kicks in

Pray that as you write it down, you are constantly aligned with our Lord and King

Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. ~Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NLT)
